Welcome
Hull LINk (Local Involvement Network) is Hull’s independent local health and social care watchdog. The LINk is made up of local people and groups working together to improve Hull’s health and social care services.
LINks have been set up across England by the Government as part of their plan to give people and groups a stronger local voice about the health and social care services they receive.
Under an Act of Parliament, LINks have been granted certain legal powers to enable them to obtain information from service providers, to access premises to see how well services are provided and to make recommendations The Act also places a duty on the City Council, local NHS and other organisations to listen and respond to the LINk.
Local people now have more power and influence than ever before to ensure that services meet their needs and the priorities of their local communities and area. The LINk can help local people, groups and organisations to influence key decision makers within the local NHS, Hull City Council and organisations who provide our health and social care services.
