Local NHS Trusts Rated

The Healthcare Commission recently published the results of its annual health check, which rates the performance of every NHS Trust for the year April 2007-March 2008. The Healthcare Commission’s role is to assess how well each NHS trust in England is performing against the Government’s standards for NHS healthcare.

The table below shows how our local trusts fared in the two main categories of quality of services and use of resources.

You can find more information about the health check and the full ratings on the commission’s website. Each of our local trusts has published a response to the ratings through statements on their respective websites.

LINks will be consulted by the Healthcare Commission as part of the health check for future years’ reports and we will soon be consulting with the Commission on how best to feed into the process.
