Cancer Treatment – Quality of Care

Issue:  From diagnosis to start of treatment; waiting time when receiving   treatment.

This group has examined the experiences of people who are undergoing, or have recently undergone cancer treatment. The group has looked at which parts of the service are working well, and which need developing.

The group has worked closely with the Hospital Trust to look at how patients are treated and supported when they first receive a cancer diagnosis. We have also collected patients’ views and comments about local services. This research has been collated into a report and formally submitted to local NHS Trusts. To view the report please click here.
