Learning Disabilities – Access to Services

Issue: Better access to health care required for people with learning disabilities.

Progress so far:

Hull LINk sits on the Better Health sub group of the Learning Disabilities Partnership. This group consist of members of the NHS Trust, voluntary and community group members and service users. The group looks at changes in the local healthcare framework, local NHS Hull plans and the government inquiry into the healthcare of people with learning disabilities. It also examines current practices, makes recommendations based on the groups experience and expertise, and promotes areas of good practice.
